In this analysis we used a very simple method, recruit per spawner analysis to make predictions. We first used brood escapement as a reference to find the two years that has similar escapement, then we predict the age-specific return using the averaged recruit per spawner of the selected years and brood year escapement.

All codes are provided in R. We first pre-processed the data based on brood year (combined_brood.csv), using the code process_data_by_brood.R. Then we used the forecast_competition.R code to do the forecast.
